Enjoy the time to feel the graceful nature of the season

The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko, the luxury hotel in Nikko National Park, is the first Ritz-Carlton where guests can enjoy a hot spring. Baths source hot spring water from the historic Nikko Yumoto Onsen. Its soft, milky warm water makes you feel the blessing of the nature of Okunikko. Each suite features a private balcony from which you can enjoy the view of scenic Lake Chuzenji and majestic Mount Nantai, both of which are the symbols of Nikko National Park. You will be sure to lose track of time in these spacious guest rooms, which come with a traditional engawa porch and the décor that blends minimalist and traditional Japanese styles together. Nikko Area

The Nikko area, in the northwestern part of the prefecture, is particularly mountainous. In the midst of the rich nature, including the 2,486-meter-high volcano Mt. Nantai, Lake Chuzenji, and Kegon Falls, there are numerous shrines and temples that are registered as UNESCO Cultural Heritage sites. From Kinugawa Onsen to Kawaji Onsen, hot springs can also be found throughout the area. There are a wide range of outdoor activities to enjoy as well, such as stand-up paddleboarding in the summer and snowshoeing in the winter.
