Oashi Canyon

The clear water from Oashigawa River flows through Oashi Canyon making it a wonderful natural scenic spot. There are nearly 20 different waterfalls， both large and small， and the view from the Otaki large waterfall is， especially during the autumnal changing of the leaves， breathtaking. There are also scattered spots for playing in the river， camping and fishing， making the site great for all kinds of leisure.“

Central Area

Utsunomiya, the most populous city in Tochigi, is about an hour from Tokyo by Shinkansen, and serves as a major transportation hub for the different regions of the prefecture.
